Year 10 Geographers bring a ray of sunshine to Edale!

Our Year 10 students travelled to deepest Derbyshire on a field visit to investigate how changes in river characteristics may lead to the need for flood management downstream.

Armed with waterproofs and wellies, our students visited three sites along Golden Clough, Grindsbrook and the river Noe in Edale.

All showed great team work in collecting accurate data for their controlled assessment and with unseasonably pleasant weather, some rewarded themselves with an ice cream or two at the end.
